Beirut still carries names of neighborhoods that begin with the word "bab”, meaning door, from medieval times. Surrounded by ramparts, the city was only accessible by doors guarded by sentinels. According to tradition, distinguished guests would receive the keys to the city as a sign of honor and welcome. Today, the ramparts are gone, but Beirut only gives itself to those that want to share its joy, its energy and its message of happiness, love and peace. Beirut Key’s precious rosette opens the door to all these elements.
