Annick Tapernoux (born in 1970), a Belgian of Swiss origin, is a silversmith artist, living in Lebanon.
After she had undertaken jewelry making studies in Anvers, she obtained in 1996 a Master of Arts at the Royal College of Art in London.
Since then, she has been tirelessly hammering metal to shape objects and jewels.
In her work, we find a fascination for blueprint of material, her will to sublimate the matter. Her main source of inspiration is nature. She tends to reach the essence without removing poetry out of it.
She collaborates also with Hermès, in the framework of the Petit h project.
